That's amazing. I remember when Cat's where $1000 or more. $75-$100. With 152K on my car, I am thinking it's worth the swap just because it's so cheap.

here is what i got

2 3inch thunderbolt cats Part # 415300
4 90 degree elbows

with this, your shop should be able to weld these to your exhaust. But i have aftermarket headers, so you will need some ss exhaust tubing to connect the rest of exhaust.

Novae500 I also have longtube headers from supersprint and I'm getting a p0422 and p0432. My high flow cats on the car are shot right now I just wanna make sure those will do the job for now

My experience with cats is you get what you pay for.
Add in the potential performance issues and install nightmares with failed aftermarket cats and I don't buy anything but RT.

I just put these into my E55. Cost $154 shipped and work great. No more check engine light.

I am wondering if there would be any cell issue from car to car. Also if there is an advantage to swapping out the factory stuff to these as far as flow. Factory seems to be pretty restrictive from what I have researched but have no direct comparison.
I do know that on my Mustang I made 756hp to the tires with shorty headers and cats just like these....again no comparison to stock.

Like you said...there's huge potential in swapping from stock to 200-300cell primaries. On the C32 the cats free up more HP than shorty headers and factory cats.

Is there a benefit to going to 100 cell cars over the 200/300 cells? It is common for stock to be replaced with 100 cells here and far less common for them to be swapped with 200 or greater. Any reason so many people fit the more restrictive ones on this forum?

I put the 300 in because anything less will set the check engine light off. I put 300 in the primaries and replaced secondaries with an H-pipe and removed resonator.

I thought all AM cats sucked! Remove them and program them out...isn't that what everyone does?

Do you have a link? I am running catless and my exhuast smells like a go-kart/bottle of gas and always nervous that I am going to get pulled over in traffic (police like to drive with the windows down).

Plus the check engine light...
