Still nothing here...

I personally purchased the mid-length headers and so did a good friend of mine. Took a while to receive them but excellent work on the part of Jerry w/ communication w/ me. However, not so much w/ my close friend. He was not happy but happy w/ the quality. I however was not happy seeing we had the same exact mid-length headers.... however NOT the same gaskets OR bolts. Mine had the stock Mercedes manifold gaskets and nuts (which is fine by me) but did NOT have the gasket for the connection at the bottom or 6 bolts w/ nuts.

His had some aftermarket exhaust manifold gasket along w/ the 6 bolts and gaskets for the bottom connection!

So I asked what is the deal here w/ this and no answer as of today. I think some Q.C. needs to be in order here. Overall a great product tho. Love them.... hated installing them PATIENCE was key for sure installing these suckers.

I'd like to get the exhaust tho. still. Just wondering how the hell do you install this thing. looks like you have to cut the existing pipe to install this because my exhaust system does not have these connections in that spot as depicted on the picture posted by OP.

Quote: In stock and ready to go mufflers??? Really??? I left you guys 3 emails, 2 phone calls and 1 voicemail. You sent me the wrong mufflers, I sent them back and still have yet to receive the correct mufflers and NO response. Where's the customer service?????? A forum shouldn't be how I should be forced to try and contact you.

I'm still waiting for my reimbursement for shipping the incorrect mufflers back.

so unless you guys are traveling or on vacation id like a response already.

Edit: it's not even about the mufflers, just communicate with me. You guys were doing me a solid at first, but now I'm just hanging in limbo here
pm sent

Who are you emailing? We are not showing any record at all.

These are like Kleemanns, you need to weld to existing exhaust, I think it was mentioned that it was not bolt on

I'd still consider them bolt on almost. No welding required. You use the provided clamps to install the mufflers and tips after you cut out the old muffler. Not a tee bolt on in the sense of the word but almost as easy. These same style clamps are what we use wen replacing cats on 230 cars which have to be cut out.

I want to know how loud are these mufflers w/ the mid length headers by EC and no primary and secondary cat on the car but the resonator is still in place.

Johncy2000 has a bunch of videos with Eurocharged Mufflers on. I was seriously looking at getting these once I convince the wife to let me spend the cash (lol):

I think this is HFC's and X-Pipe

No x-pipe, no sec cats:

I think this is a Dyno run with them (not sure since he had Magnaflow at one point):

for those that have "felt" both, are the long tubes worth 3x the price of the shorty headers?

They all sound good especially with the HFC's. Do you know offhand what length extractors Joncy was running?

Bump? The thread is one day old. Do you test any of the exhaust products or just resell? I would like to hear the exhaust setup before I give you guys $800...hard to believe a business this large does not have the capability to install a set of mufflers and take a sound clip.

IMO there's too many variants to actually give realistic sound impressions.
Some will have diff mufflers or x pipe or 3" exhaust with stock mufflers etc...

True, but as a baseline for the exhaust note. We all know it will vary depending on the setup.

I'm stuck between headers or a set of mufflers. I am leaning towards the headers for obvious reasons.

Go headers. Power > sound.
