Can't believe this thread was started 6 years ago. Life got in the way, but it finally happened and figured I would come back to close it out. Even though I sold my E63 a while back and never come to the forum anymore, for some reason I distinctly remember writing this post and it's amusing to re-read it.
Just purchased today - 2018 Audi R8 V10 Plus.
Vegas Yellow isn't my first choice - but I didn't want the hassle and delay of dealing with out of state purchases. Done that before and it was pretty annoying IMO.
So I'll get her wrapped eventually, but she really is an amazing machine. Now I have to wait a few more days before the wire transfers clear. Agonizing.
Oh, and the AMG GT-R was the other car I was considering - very close, but the Audi won out. Don't think you can go wrong with either.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. My first exotic, and it's an incredible feeling to drive it - truly amazing.
I've not yet had the car for 24 hours now...but I'll say the yellow is growing on me. I may not wrap it after all. I might just paint the wheels black, black out the grille / badges, get spacers and call it a day.
