on going airmatic problem

I been battling the airmatic system on my 04 e55 for some time now , I have 2 new front struts (one blew out got the pair) and 2 newer rear struts. my problem is not that my car looses air over night or as it sits but that if I lower it or change the setting ie sport, comfort it has a hard time getting back to factory ride height. I have to repeatedly hit the Raise button until it raises fully. I am leaning towards a bad compressor or a leak some where but I am not sure where to start any ideas would be apreciated (car is 2004 e55 )

sounds like you have weak compressor. If you have STAR Diagnostic program, it would help a lot on determining on if your compressor is bad.

I would purchase compressor from arnott and also replace the compressor relay to be safe.

Do replace the relay. The compressor can be rebuilt pretty easily.

Then this is a must see.

26, 26.25

It should be around there I notice my car doesn't always return to the same exact height I don't know why it's been one thing after another
