Was thinking the same thing.

I agree, something isn't right here....

I think it's worth exploring. I think the car has ~55k miles on it. I had the IC pump replaced when it got the E63 Front End. i want to get his car on the dyno and see what it puts down and can do mine same day.

Ya my buddy had ABC on his SL65 he had to replace once before... It was expensive.

Wasn't sure the S class had ABC also? S class is BOSS. If someone wanted to trade a high mileage S63 or even a well optioned S550 for my E55, I would probably not hesitate lol.

E55 is no better in the maintenance department folks:

- SBC
- Airmatic
- IC pump

The E has some issues but for every one the E has an SL,CL, or S has two. Not to mention the costs of the parts are unbelievably high if you get through the dealer. Some of the ABC parts have come down due to the aftermarket parts available now so it's not as bad but owning any ABC equipped car can be a nightmare. I do like the bi-turbo V12 engine though.

Something wrong with that s65, it should have pulled away by a large margin if things were running properly.
