wanted to buy a 2005 e55
hey guys I'm new to the amg world, but looking around for a 2005-2006 e55. i have a neighbor who is looking to sell his 05. has only 35,000 miles on it and he owned it since new. he's has every service done by the dealer. i know the guy he takes very good care of it. he wants only $20,000 for it and i think its worth it with such low miles. can some one help me out with this. car is super clean. thanks jack

I just bought one so I was looking for a deal like that. Jump on that before he changes his mind and post pics! You can run a vin decoder to get a list of all the options too. What color is it? Nice find.

Just leave it as is and it'll be fine ... It's one of the few cars that are perfect just the way they are and very classy

The E55K cars will be worth a good bit more than nowadays (appreciate) in the next 5 years or so when the good examples are far and few between and there are so many newer AMGs on the road.
The M113K is such an awesome machine and every time I've wanted to sell , I decide against it (made that mistake with my first one, never again).
I had an E39 M5 with 72K miles that I sold almost a decade ago and I miss that car every day. It wasn't worth crap then, but nowadays, at auction/wholesale price, they are going for $8-$10K more than I sold mine for back then. Case in point, 2000 M5 with 77K miles sold at auction for $23K....yes, $23K.
Get the car and enjoy it. But the low mileage E55Ks are going to be more than what they're worth today in a few years, mark my words.

Agree. Right now in the teens they are the best bang for the buck in the word. And they a damn nice too.

I'm sure almost every gent here with one will tell you that: YES its worth it and more.....
I bought my Beast with the same mileage 5 years ago for $30k, FYI!
Mileage is a huge deal on these cars, and I wish I really didn't like driving it because now I have 93k on the Odometer!
The "Beast" puts most of what's on the road in your rearview.....
FYI: these cars require a bankroll to drive unless your handy with the Steel! lol

Lol yea I'm handy lol. I've owned acouple super cars and done all my own work. I only go to the dealer if it's a must have. I just sold my f10 m5 in Monte Carlo blue. I've had a Gtr and a lot of other toys. Nothing really scares me. I did the first meth kit on a Gtr or one of the first kits. https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...1&d=1427759162
