Speaking from experience, at Sac traction will be key since VHT seems to be a foreign word there. Start your air pressures at 20psi, heat the mickeys up really nice and roll out of the burn out. Power brake up to take the slack out of the drivetrain and launch off idle. Suspension raised, DC setting on soft and if you get the launch right 1.65 or better and you don't pull timing you could see a 10sec run. Make sure you drain some water from your tank but not below the pump line and then stuff it with ice.
Park close to the staging area so your ice doesn't melt as fast during staging and the burn out. Off to the right of staging area u will see a blue fence with some grass/moss setup shop there.

Goog Luck hope to hear 10's later

Well that was fun. Couldn't manage better than 2.0+ 60ft blazing 11.80 best pass of day 121mph. Back to the drawing board...

MPH seems low for mods listed. Then again if you spun for half the track it'd make sense.

Yeah I think so too, not really sure why. In any event will just keep trying, we'll see.

Well with those mods you need a dyno tune. A box tune is ok but your leaving a lot on the table without it being dialed in.

So tell me what/how you went about it? There's a certain touch that Sac requires. Back in the day the SoCal AMG crew came up to Sac thinking that they could duplicate Alan (Bassn07) Mike (MikesAMG) and myself times. They all blew the tires off and couldn't hook up worth a Sh**. I would put money on it that I could better your times in your car. I would also think that your box tune has to have some Craig influence behind it.

I bet your ecu was cutting power like a **** with a 2.0 - 60'

Started at 22psi (best 60 of the day) and went down to 18 psi. Short burnouts and slight load up to flash from idle. I'm not really sure that I like this converter setup it just hits the tires too hard. I hear you on the prep at sac being tricky but I've done better with much less mods so just have to sort this setup out. Not really sure about you bettering my time but I'm down to race you in your car against me in mine for money, Let me know?

Not sure I'm following you the Craig influence part...what does that mean?

Did your brother run his E55 Carlos? You need to get a belt wrap kit back on your car, what changed since last time you ran an 11.3?

20 psi is the ticket with the MT's and burnout is key, 18psi made car a little bouncy as I crossed the line and I didn't like that feeling so I went back up to 20psi. Sorry but I don't race for money, hell I don't even race anymore but I think you took my statement to literal. One of the SoCal guys I was talking about came with his E63 on street tires and couldn't get lower than a 12.4 or 12.5. I got behind the wheel never have driven a E63 and ran 12.2 on my 1st run.
Craig (CHawkins) had his car tuned by BIP and is very good friends with the and he has tried many setups so I figured that they developed your box tune from gaining data from his car.

I've never driven a car with a stall so I don't have any experience I can offer with the loading or not loading of the drivetrain. The majority of my strip experience was when my car was stock. I've only made 5 passes since my car has been modded. Was this your 1st time with this setup at Sac?

with the stall you simply need traction and tires its a different beast.

No he didn't. I can't get it to stop shredding belts but I agree looking at the logs boost is inconsistent.

So much has changed since those times, I added a quaife, heads, meth, new upper and lower pulley combo, different tuner, different tires. In theory I should have gained mph or at least bettered my ET but it's going slower ET ****tier 60ft and same mph.

Plans are dyno tune, different crank pulley, belt wrap kit back on, 315 hoosier, adj. Camber arms and that's really all I can think of for now.

I see yeah the DRs like more psi from my experience but the trick is finding how much you can run and still hookup. That's cool I've never run into any other w211 guys at sac but I only have been a couple times in this car.

I'm going to see if Tony can dyno tune it and make some other adjustments with the setup.

I would stick to the 16" clk set up but switch to the Hoosiers 255/50/16 they are stickier than the MT and they are 6lbs lighter. If I had continued racing I would've switched to the Hoosiers. Next time you go let me know and I will meet you up there to lend a hand or whatever you need. If I were you now this is just my opinion I would switch back to the stock supercharger pulley and go with a ASP 185 with the aluminum outer ring. I would've gone this route but I bought my 185 from Shardul before they stated putting the aluminum outer ring.

Btw who did your head work? I was thinking of buying a second set of heads and then take them to Robello or Top of the Hill Performance

It was a bit warm. My new wheel setup has it consistently 60ft a 1.6 best time was 11.32@122.

Gonna get a retune, its super lean in first gear and look for some better weather.
