Shorty headers that keeps the cats - gains?

What sort of gains can be had with plm or evosport headers? With the stock cats in place?

I am also interested. I think that Evosport headers are not manufactured anymore?

Evosport isn't that great. PLM is knockoff of Renntech shorties, and they work well.

I went from 420whp to 497whp, from just PLM heat exchanger, 82mm throttle body, and PLM shorties. Hard to tell what each would do, but I'm happy with outcome.

You will still have the bottleneck at the mid-pipe connection in front of the primary cat. I think people have said 15-20whp with this setup?

I put on PLM shorty headers and magnaflow bolt on high flow cat pipes. I had no choice as of one my primary cats was cracked. Replacement cat pipes from Merc were crazy expensive ($4500) so that was a non-starter. Magnaflow bolt ons were $1000. PLM's are a bit pricey for what you get but the quality is good. In my setup the car maintains the mild stock exhaust tone just normal cruising, no highway drone, but really wakes up when you get on it. I would say i lost a little low end but not much, top end it definitely breathes better. Never had the car dynoed but the seat dyno says the mod was good...lol. As many here have said if you do this put new motor mounts/trans mounts on or at least have them checked to avoid any cracks from torquing around the headers.

I retained the factory cats, but eliminated the "bottleneck" by replacing the small inlet pipe with one the same size as the outlet pipe. Remember, these are supercharged engines and the positive inlet pressure will scavenge the exhaust gasses. You just need to give the gasses an unrestricted path to flow out and you will see significant HP gains.

I can't believe that no one offers a kit with true shorty headers bundled with a replacement connector that eliminates that bottleneck. That's what I would want as I don't want to mess with cats/emissions/CELs from moved or deleted O2s.

Heiss - not a kit but this is what i used with my shorties, excellent quality, keeps the o2 sensors and eliminates the exhaust gas bottleneck..

They look the part - I'd like to know if there would be much difficulty installing them on RHD.

Finally figured out the quote thing - I would recommend contacting them and inquiring. When I ordered mine they were out of stock, car was down hard so I was trying to coordinate all of the logistics, took about 3 weeks to get through the production pipeline. I contacted Magnaflow a couple of times. They were responsive and their production/ shipping estimates were spot on. Call them or shoot them an email and their support folks will get back with you. My installers said they had to fab some hangers but other than that the fitment was great. GL. Maybe they've done some righty's..
