Playing MP3s
If not, are there any good solutions for having MP3 capability added to the car, which don't involve butchering the car in any way?
I am happy to be corrected, however.
Ok, I'm no expert, but it is my understanding that a DVD is encoded using MPEG-2. Therefore I guess that COMAND must be able to decode MPEG-2 in order to play a movie, and so it should be no big deal to go the extra mile and decode MP3.
I am happy to be corrected, however.

For reference, the new nav systems in US and Euro W220s and W215s do support MP3 CD playback support.

I just ordered the E55 in tectite grey but haven't seen any pictures or one in person. Do you have any you can share? Are you happy with the color? Thanks!
