Mercedes dual electric exhaust cut-out kit

hows the under panel holding up to the heat? this should be a very important thing to be careful of. My trunk floor has melted due the exhaust heat I could literally see fibers of the floor hanging down. But also take note, I had the round ones and they were a y style so the angle of the valve was an issue. If theres no issue with these please PM me a price.

Your Mom Krazy
Just got my cut-outs today Had them weld the piping in, then finished up the installation and wiring myself. Criag from World Motorsport was very professional and helpful, also gave me awesome tour of the shop.

How are you guys going about mounting the cutout? All of the pictures are pretty unhelpful with that, I'd like to see pictures under the car or even the car on a lift to really tell clearly. I'm interested in doing this however I need to know what you guys are doing with regards to mounting the cutout? are you installing an inline Y pipe? or?

We usually mount them on the pipe that goes up towards the rear muffler from the center of the car. That helps us with ground clearance and it helps point the outlet of the cut-out pointing top the back of the car.

What about mounting them before the cats ? That would actually have some benefits for drag racing. Would be awesome on the E63 Turbo. I did one on a lowly 400 WHP 3.8 turbo GP and it gave 35 WHP nothing else changed. Same day same dyno. Turbos really love no restrictions in exhaust.
