It reads Chablis on the Ash Tray cover and apparently was built for the "Polish Market Only"..

Hmmm, imagine my engine cover and airbox covered in that!!

I'm looking at a lot of different options right now, but definitely want to upgrade my interior with some better looking materials.

I really like these designo Corteccia Leather door inserts and think this color of trim would match very well..

changing the interior trim to a different wood finish will be hard. maybe you should get it done in CF

Nah, so over CF.. that's so yesterday..
I want to make my E55 interior look more luxurious.. The CF I have in my sporty SL55 and SLK55..

I would be interested in doing my trim pieces in this type of color and style of wood.. See if it's possible and I don't have a problem shipping you all my pieces.. I would want it to color match spot on though..

 

Define "spot on".

As you only have pictures and not the original items, and as every single video display and printer on the planet renders color slightly different, how spot on is spot on enough?

Do you do carbon overlays or recommend someone that does them?

I know it won't be exact which is why I said spot on or as close to..

I would do a test part first to see how close they can get it, then send them all of my pieces if I like what they can offer..

Im just curious..how do you do CF vinyl relay on roll-up cup holder middle console??

 

most of the people switch over to the clam shell center console when they get the CF trim

 

Poland is your source for custom interior pieces with great craftsmanship and reasonable cost.
I have used a few, but it has been 3 or 4 years, so I wouldn't want to suggest.

Maybe start the search trying to find an importer to be the middle man. It can be difficult communicating and getting updates. They are kind of slow.

I'm in talks with an MB dealer who has contacted a MB dealer in Warsaw to see if the vendor that made these dark Maple wood trim pieces for the 2007 special edition E-Class Chablis is still available.. Would be cool to get it straight from the original source..

I already ordered the designo Corteccia Leather door inserts from the 2007 E63 AMG designo Graphite edition. I think this brown leather will look amazing next to the Chablis dark Maple wood trim..
