Couple questions before i pull the trigger on an 08 E63

Alright so this is the one I'm looking at http://www.avonautobrokers.com/2008-...9/Details.aspx 27k with 60k miles. Should i be worried about that high of mileage? How reliable are these cars and what should I expect to pay a year for maintenance? I really, really want this, too clean

I just purchased an 08 E63 myself at the end of April. Mine only had 39K miles on it. But I did take it to the dealer for an inspection which was $150 dollars. The only thing I needed to do was routine maintenance and brakes. I didn't let the dealership do any of it since they wanted around 4K to do everything. The only thing that is really expensive that I have to replace are the front rotors which are $850 a piece. I really enjoy the ride, I had a 2012 Genesis R-spec that I traded in on it. Good luck

2008 e63 amg
I bought my 08 E63 a couple of years ago with 50k miles, now have 91k. No real problems. I replaced the brake pads myself - $500, easy job. Front rotors are expensive but haven't needed to replace them yet. Rear tires last about 12k miles. My experience has been great. Wonderful car.

I've had my '08 since new. I haven't had anything major go wrong. Runs nice and strong.
The brakes have been the most expensive so far. I still love the start-up 'bark'.

I hit 100k on my 08 this year. Only thing I do different than the regular maintenance schedule is that I change my oil every 5k. Been solid for the last 7years and I use it as my daily driver.

ok went to see it, really nice and so fast, holy **** lol. I got everything set but the only thing holding me back is it's been in a "minor" accident. How concerning is this and should i hold off because of it?

Pretty sure that I test drove that e63 last September, looked great drove nice, wanted that color at the time. If not mistaken it also had a issue with the navigation that they stated would be fixed, they claimed it was a $3000 repair. When I tested it, it had not been in a "minor" accident.

You should also run an autocheck, that may show accidents that carfax doesn't.

As for the navigation, maybe it got updated. Also in MA, you'll get a 60 day warranty which should cover any navigation repair that may be needed. My keyless go didn't quite work when I bought my car and I made the dealer fix it under the 60 day warranty. Are you going to get an extended warranty?

wow they didnt mention any issues with the nav and they claimed it was in a minor accidenta after I asked about the history. I havent looked at the carfax yet but was gonna buy it tomorrow before getting the car later this week. I had to ask about the carfax, before they mentioned it. Did you bring it up to him or look at the carfax? What made you decide not to buy it? Im becoming more and more hesitant
