E63 secondary/aux battery location?
How's it goin everyone.

I started to get this error message the past few days. It seems to happen when I plug in my phone to charge it in the back outlet by the rear AC.


I figured it was the secondary aux battery (correct me if I'm wrong)

So I searched around and everyone was saying the batt is located in the front of the engine compartment (passenger side).



So I took out the cabin filter and am looking at this



Am I searching in the wrong area

Just replaced my OEM battery with this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00

OEM wasn't bad, but I wasn't going to wait for it to go bad before I upgraded. Also, it was $172.40, at the time of purchase. So, it's definitely something to watch.

E63 only had one battery as they did away with SBC in the e55 in the 05 model year.
I believe the aux battery acted as a backup in case the main battery failed or so I've been told

2006 was the last model year with 2 batteries and SBC

Just a heads up for anyone who might run into the same problem. The battery ended up being fine. It was the alternator.
