Why would you pretend your E55 is something that it's not when it's already more than most imagine...?

Maybe person was putting badges back on the car and didnt realize black series doesnt apply to E55?
There is one for sale in my area that has a black series badge on it. I believe the car had body work even though it doesnt show on carfax.

This car is a teal, blue gray ...
Just be honest with what your car is ... The e55 is a wicked awesome car no need to pretend it's more

Are you talking about this car?
It was a special order from Germany and imported directly from the factory. It has a black series back in it from factory.

The second owner of the car ,who still owns it, bought it off a car collector in California. The car was custom ordered by him. The collector had died and the wife auctioned off his cars, which is how the second owner bought it, flew to California met with the old lady and bought it off her personally. Then it was transported to Chicago.
When the second owner bought it it only had 60K miles on it. Like I mentioned the original owner was a collector and had about 20 other cars in the garage. Everything on the car was factory and pristine, It was garage stored in California for years until it was auctioned. The second owner has the paper from the factory and import information.
Now even I can Google and see that Mercedes officially listed models of the black series, and E55 isn't in the list.
if the car was custom ordered and specked, made in Germany why couldn't a badge be out on from Mercedes?
No one who was that meticulous would put a fake badge on their AMG. We all know how AMG people feel about branding .

Someone put that fake badge on it but just won't admit to doing it.
