Which color for my new E55 April build? Tectite or Silver?
I can't make up my mind...I have silver now which I really love, but thought a change would be nice. Does anybody have a nice hi-res pic of tectite? I value everyone's opinions on here and I need to decide soon. Thanks in advance.

Silver
I like silver best as it gives a nice contrast to the charcoal interior.
Doesn't bother me with too many silver cars around as the combo works best for me. Low maintence.
On the other hand, I may consider tectile if I can pick a nice light colour interior such as stone/beige.

i chose to go with the tectite grey because i felt it made the car look a little more aggressive than the lighter colored silver. it's also not too dark as to be difficult to maintain. the metallic paint is easy to take care of and the car almost appears black at night.
i also went with the charcoal/merlot interior because i felt it made the car a llittle more different than the non-AMG models.

You guys are the best on here. Thanks for all the input! I am as confused as ever. I know the new car will have the nano clear, which makes me feel more comfy with the darker color, but I am concerned with resale value as well. The silver that I have now is really a beautiful car, but the tectite has more shine because it is darker. Still undecided.....

BY FAR GO WITH TECTITE
it is one of the most beautiful color i believe mb offers. It looks emazing on the g500, incredible on the s500 and simply breath taking on an E55amg

I am going to attach this pic..I think it does the color more justice. It is not my car..but THANK YOU to the person who did post this pic, bc it is the reason I placed my order with Tectite.
Also a word on the pewter...I think it has too much of a brown hue for me to consider. If it was TRUELY in between tectite and silver, with only a gray tone..then I would be considering it, but it isnt.
Enjoy..

Would you consider NOT buying the E55 because it uses $1000 more gas over 4 years than an E320? That'll be the max difference in color/value.
I think you should get whichever color appeals to you the most.
The car's an extravagance to begin with.

Enzo, my Benzo
TECTITE!!! It is much more aggressive than silver, and more unique since it seems like 7 out of 10 MB's are silver.
The tectite grey is the nicest color MB currently offers IMO and is the only close alternative to the W124 pearl black, THE best color MB EVER offered. See below for my biased opinion

I had originally planned on black or obsidian. I felt then I would have to go with all charcoal interior but I like charcoal/merlot.

Now the outside color. If the interior was a light color --- fawn --- I would have gone for black. But how does a dark interior on a dark car look. Did you htink of graphite?
