glad I went to the alignment shop!

Tried going to the dealership they wouldn't touch it since my rim had a small bend. Glad I found a shop to do it right.

Do you have the front camber bolt kit from Merc? Are you lowered?

I bet your car pulls right. Why didn't they adjust your caster?

Because they cant if its stock all stock cars are like this my car had even more castor than that at over 11 stock.

Mine is now at 9deg (castor mod and mercedes crash bolts) or thereabouts on both sides and the difference is amazing.

Get crash bolts and castor mod people! Pull the camber down a touch all round great tyre wear and great handling car!

Do you have a link to where I can purchase said items? It seems like a great mod to do

The castor mod is really just die grinding out the upper ball joint holes to pivot the assembly forwards sum. Its a DIY if your comfortable with it.

The crash bolts can be bought from mercedes if you search on here you should be able to find the part no.

Basically doing the same thing with the crash bolts moving the lower part of the suspension/hub back towards the rear wheel using the front most arm.

Obviously you will have the option to buy two or four I suggest you buy four then you can adjust camber aswell.

FYI...don't expect these crash bolts to give a large range of adjustment. Somewhere between .5-1° of adjustment.

Yep correct but in most cases how much do really need to adjust? I think realistically 1 degree is enough. His camber is all within .5 degree of the recommended stock values which imo are fine. The Castor is the big one. Once you get it down into that 9 degree or lower range your golden imo.

Then theres always the hideously expensive camber/castor bushes from that aussie company if you want more.

Just saying if your alignment was done " correctly" they would of measured ride height with a romis (sp?) tool. Then corrected it if nessasary. Which wasn't done, no readings on that sheet. Then they would of replaced your camber/castor bolts to get it into spec. If it won't go into spec, something is worn out or bent. ( besides your wheels)

If you have less castor on the right side of your car, it will pull right. To compensate for road crown you actually want 0.2-3* less castor on the left side.

Also, don't start grinding out the bolt holes for the upper ball joint.

After searching I finally found the part number for the bolts!

PN 000 330 00 18 for new camber bolts.

Hopefully I won't need new bolts, maybe I can just have it adjusted?

The factory bolts are not adjustable. The crash bolts give a small range of adjustment and are not expensive.

Heres mine as you can see pretty much everything is near the top end of the factory spec. IMO this is a great wheel alignment for a car seeing mostly road duty and maybe once a year hit the track. (the REAL track not the quarter!)

I am very lucky to live in a town with a wheel alignment guy that is very very good at his job. That also makes a difference.

IMO mercedes ****ed up royally when they built these cars as none of them iv seen yet seem to be anywhere near that castor spec.

no ride height check on your car as well? wow how are all these alignment shops doing these without a very important measurement. the ride height is always checked first then entered into the alignment machine and that is how the specs are then determined.

While you may be technically right I think thats a bit of a nothing TBH.

Mine was set in comfort mode and I was very specific about that because the alignment does change slightly when you put it in sport. (We know because we turned on sport2 while it was on the alignment rack.)

You just have to be aware that whatever setting you drive the car in most is what you align the car in its pretty simple stuff really.
