Does anyone know if the W211 sounds the same on a drive by versus the R230?


I'm referring to the sound about 20 seconds in. You can't miss it, the SC wine (maybe going into the doppler effect) sounds like a jet plane.

I know mine does. A buddy told me when I did a 100MPH pass at Road Atlanta that the SC was screaming.

Sweet! I suppose you have to drive by the camera at just the right rpm range of the engine and SC to get this effect.

I'm not sure why, but mine sounds like a turbo at low RPM. It's a very high pitched whistle. Under heavy acceleration it sounds like a SC and it screams near redline. I am on stock pulleys

Interesting. Are you referring to the sound that you hear your car makes from within your car or to someone standing on the side of the road?

Inside and out. I'll try to get a video of what mine sounds like. I lot of people think it's turbo at low RPM (3K). It sounds more like a SC at higher RPM
