Some one needs to get back with me about my car.

Not long after the tune I get rough idle and misfire. My O2's stuck rich and the car in limp mode I guess. (Open loop)

I fixed the hardware as I was told by you (O2's changed), cleared codes, fire up and immediately get misfire on all but number 8 cylinder. Car sounds like a messed up WRX STI at idle.

I already know, maybe the bran new spark plugs I put in there are fouled from the rich conditions the old O2s were making... I checked them and yes they are a bit dusty but not in a way the make the car run like this.

Help... I might need to make another thread to track down my problem to other hardware or the tune cause after I try a couple other things I'm lost.

Thanks

Have you considered flashing the stock software back on to see if that solves your problem? At least at that time you can decide if you want a refund or have BIP/Tony fix the issues with the tune

I got to you last night. You need to have the car looked over by a mechanic, if you want I am more then happy to send you a stock file to flash in your ecu and see if it clears up.

My Weistec E55 has the needed cooling mods, plus a 75 shot on top of it all and is still runnning strong to this day. Both of our cars had base Weistec tunes and then were tweeked by Tony.

The upd pulley came off my car while it was on the dyno. That pulley fell off multiple cars around the country, did all those shops install it incorrectly too?

2000UJZ, I will get back to your issue once I get the other side of the story.

Oh,
Thanks for clearing that up! Makes a lot more sense now, you were going to build his bottom end so it could blow up again since there's no mention of getting his cooling system worked out?! What does a built bottom end have to with detonation.......I don't care what you install it's not going to last with the issue that clearly the car had to make it blow in the first place. And clearly he wasn't to butt hurt to come back, must have sold him the same lines that got 2000ujz back after driving a few miles down the road and slung the pulley.....

I really don't care about who's cars are left in pieces or how many things were left uncompleted. There's not going to be any full and true story's as there's always many sides to every story, but It's just funny how it seems nearly all the customers that raved about you guys have there own storyline of being let down, from FSP tunes that never got sorted out "2 that are known of", Pullies slinging off, this other guys exhaust and tuning issues, blown engine left dismantled when the doors closed, and I'm sure your car was finally running right and that's why you dropped it like it's hot. It's not like any of it even matters at this point as it's been dissolved, it's just like you have some personal ego that can't deal with what's happened.

Let me ask you something, have you ever bought something or ordered anything from BIP? You act like you have gone through a full stage 5 build with the company, and are local to the area with all these assumptions you are making. You must really have your ear to the ground to have all this know how right at your finger tips.

I do take it personal when someone makes blatant inaccurate assumptions like you are, against a close friend of mine whose career relies heavily on their business and reputation. Out of 100's of happy customers, you will always find the select few that are unhappy, fact is, you cannot please everyone.

A hell of a shop would have been more then happy to fix it at no cost, and your silence which you had was invaluable. But like all things, reality caught up. I had heard another guy say that his car had blown up after they installed a Weistec blower and tuned it themselves, and failed from detonation and his engine was left in pieces.

Hey ForcedBenz you're just a fricken troll. You have nothing to do with this so stop **** stirring. Not only do you give Craig a hard time - who's going out of his way to help BIP customers - but you're even giving **** to BIP customers after saying "no disrespect". They say we see ourselves reflected in others and if that's true you must be a real ****. If ya aint got anything constructive to add to this thread then **** off!

Butt buddies unite!

The thread speaks for its self so I'll leave it at what's been posted before I ever chimed in. And my ear close to the ground? Maybe stand up and you'd realize the noise was deafening coming from people on here before I ever said a word.

And Therapist, thanks for you enlightening remarks. I hope your "Shiney new Motor" doesn't blow up or throw parts off on your pick up of the vehicle. Because if so don't go pointing fingers at the builder because they just will have nothing to do with it according to your logic.

It's like this fellas, consumers decide in the free market whether or not you stay in business......Nuff said

I love this forum to death. Gives me a laugh every time.

I love how one person has a bad experience and everyone chimes in with their "own" facts. Just give it a rest especially if you never went to the business in question. I don't see any "good experience" threads on this forums.

This happens so often on this forum. A shop/vendor comes around and then there are the select fanboys that hype them up and bash anyone that says anything negative so people keep quiet about any issues and upon the shop/vendors demise everyone comes out the woodwork. I'm not saying this is the case with BIP but it seems to be the trend on this forum.

Also the sc pulleys flying off have happened outside of BIP, regardless of who installs it. There have been numerous threads about this and as I said before the people that brought it up usually get bashed by the fanboys. They say stuff like there are "knockoffs" that fall off etc etc but looks like in several cases (including this one) UPD is mentioned. There have been so many pulleys flyng off that there was enough business interest to make/sell a scattershield! And yet people still buy it

Now let the bashing begin

Oh look, you found another chance to talk **** about Shardul. You talk about people hiding to avoid bashing by fanboys, but you go to the opposite extreme and look for every chance you can to talk ****. Get over yourself. It's old.

I get tons of PM's from people that are afraid to post their experiences. I'm not. Your opinions don't concern me at all. It's a problem that needs to be addressed. If there wasn't a problem why does it keep popping up?

Riiiiight. I'm sure you are the go-to person for people afraid to speak up about shop experiences. You should put this in your sig.

I am also far from exhibit A. If people have a bad experience, they need to grow a backbone and share it. There is no reason that information should be kept hush-hush. Everyone has different experiences at different shops. No shop will ever produce a customer base 100% ecstatic about their work. We are human beings after all and not robots.

Are you kidding me?!?! That's the reason I choose to chime in. There were so many threads from people posting these good experiences with BIP. That being my point entirely, and in the end this thread had a lot of those same posters come back and say something in opposition. And started a thread of "BIP GONE"

It's just plain funny how much forum influence and posting they did but no word on them closing and for there customers to contact them to complete unfinished work or issues. - Actual customers decide, not post counts!!!

No my point is if you never did business with BIP, no reason to be like "ohhh **** that place". You need to get every side of story because we alllllllll know the power of Google. I think everything is blown out of proportion especially on forums. Some of the vendors are smart on here and just let the bashing happen cause a mod will just delete it. Everything comes with a price on it

Why run our cars when we can run our mouths? It is more fun honestly than dumping money. I rather have money in the bank. That is just me!

I don't know why people, like yourself, bash every business that you don't have any affliation. Last time I checked Shardul, Eurocharged, BIP, god knows who, get ALL their parts from the same place.

Last time I remember is you were all quiet during EC/DC open house because Jerry didn't have time for your car and you ran your mouth on the forums. Jerry felt bad and specially tuned your car cause he was tired of hearing/seeing the constant running of your keyboard. Next time speak up at an event or talk to someone, don't expect people to go out of their way to help, this is MURICA!

Exhibit C? Run your car, not your keyboard!

Uhh what? I got tuned at the former EC/DC open house by Jerry. Too bad you didn't stick around to see. Check the thread. Wanna try again? Next time you have something to say come talk to me

https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ne-605whp.html

First post:
"After a long day of waiting with some friends (amazing that they would wait 13 hours to support me and I'm really appreciative to have such good friends) Jerry worked his tuning magic on my car. He gained 150+whp in a matter of a couple hours. No hardware changes at all, strictly tuning and gained ~170Whp! A ZR1 dyno'd before me and made right about 500whp. My car did a baseline pull with the Weistec tune and made 437whp. After a few flashes the car made 605whp! We decided to stop there even the car was begging for more timing because we aren't sure where the limits of the stock motor are. I got in it a bit on the way home and it pulls harddddd in the upper rpm range. I will get a scan of the dyno tomorrow and post up. Thanks to the whole EC crew!!!! "

Lol of course I wasn't there! I am sure everyone was just dying to see a POS CLK to be on the dyno. Anyways, keep running that keyboard man on every other thread that ISN'T associated with Eurocharged. Whose the fan boy now?

P.S. No disrespect to Eurocharged as I have done business with them way before EC/DC. Don't want to start another keyboard battle
