Question about the aux cord
How do you connect your phone? My friend tried to hook up his iPhone 4 but it said something like "this device may not be compatible" and it wouldnt work. Im gonna buy an iPhone 6 adapter so hopefully it works

An AUX cord is a 3.5mm jack, which plugs into the headphone jack and couldn't determine which kind of phone you have. This would also not have an iPhone 6 adapter, so I assume you are talking about an iPod cable, which I have no experience with.
I connect my phone via the actual AUX adapter in the glovebox.

AUX is 3.5mm stereo plug
Ipod is 30 pin (old skool ipod)
If the car has the 30 pin then the AUX in glove compartment will have been disconnected.

Do this backwards,
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...d-install.html
Or switch out the wires on the back of the head unit (plug the AUX back in)
or just buy an old Ipod load it up and leave it in the car all the time, or try and find the Bluetooth dongle that works with the 30 pin.

You can get a used ipod touch on cowboom (a best buy store) for as low as $20 for a 2nd generation ipod touch. You could get a regular ipod, but I prefer the touch because it has wifi and I can load spotify on it and then just sync my playlists via wifi instead of downloading music to it. And then I just leave it in the glove box.
In the meantime, you could always activate your Sirius XM, you get you a free 2 month trial if you haven't activated it before. And then once it expires, you can call them and get a special deal where you can get 5 months for $20.

I bought an Anker one from Amazon. It lasts me for like 10hrs before the battery dies but it has a micro USB port so you can charge it with a car charger. Its very easy to connect and I just leave it in the glovebox and connect my phone via bluetooth to it. No more cords hanging out the glove box
