Can E55'ers measure their supercharger?
I'm on a mad quest to use the very fancy (and now very cheap from junkyards) twin screw supercharger the E55s came with on another v8 engine.
but i have no clue as to the actual dimensions of these things
so uh, can someone get a tape measure out and get some rough measurements?
basically i want to get measurements of each of the colored lines in this image
E55 AMG supercharger measurements
Orange line: width of the blower only
Red line: width of the cooler pipes attached to the blower
Green line: length of the entire thing, from the front of the pulley to the back of the cooler pipes.
cyan line: height of the entire thing, from the top of the cooler pipes (at the back) to the bottom of the heat exchanger thing. this may be impossible to measure with the thing installed though.

My supercharger is out at the moment which gave me the chance to "roughly" measure her up. Was in the dark with a torch in my mouth holding the overflow tank to one side whilst wrestling the tape measure lol but should give you an idea...

Green line = 75mm (2.95 inch)
Red line = 45mm (1.77 inch)
Cyan line = 35mm (1.38 inch)
Orange line = 52mm (2.05 inch)

are you sure you weren't measuring in centimeters? because 17.7 inches sounds more realistic
