Looking for a new Short Block for 04 E55
Trying to find someone on here selling a short block assembly, mine was misfiring and when I pulled the passenger side head off last night part of the wall in one of the cylinders has a piece missing. I don't know how or when this happened, but when it did it tore up the piston.

Whichever one.Is the second from the front on the passenger side. The driver side head is still on so I don't know the situation on that side. Current mods are: 77mm fixed pulley, eurocharged tune, FTP H/E, Johnson I/C pump, Fabberge exhaust.

You looking for stock SB or built motor? We have a brand new built , forged pistons , bored 98mm Darton steel sleeved block in stock, if you want to go the built route. PM me if interested.

Stock Rods? If you're gonna build it why use stock rods?

115k mi. I think it was cheap because the lower oil pan was cracked. Nobody wanted to take the risk at $4200. The second it dropped to $2500 I bought it. I made sure through emails with him that the engine was not run without oil and bought it with PayPal so if there were any issues, I would get my money back. I've since gone through the engine and resealed everything, replaced the timing gears and converted it to a front sump pan. The engine is spotless. The oil filter I pulled out was a mb filter and still golden color. I got lucky, it's in good shape.

I have a 2005 E55 same problem cylinder 8.
My car only has 85,000 miles on it and started making a horrendous noise look down in the cylinder with a scope and the ring and popped off the piston. Which obviously scarred up the cylinder. I'm not sure if it was back pressure from the catalytic converters being completely plugged up or if an oil pump wasn't working properly. But I'm looking for a short block as well.
