Heeeellllllp abs esp defective!

Ok so just replaced my front wheel bearings, started the car to drive and I get abs and esp defective, first off the car wouldnt accelerate unless I turned off the esp, then it drove fine, had the alignment done and warnings are still there but don't have to turn off esp to get it to drive

Tried turning the wheel side to side made no difference, when I first start the car the steering is mega light, also the speedo doesn't work then all of a sudden the the speedo works and the steering gets heavy.....

The bearings I used were a kit and I am worried that the seal doesn't have the magnets in after doing a bit of research, do I just bite the bullet and buy 2 new hubs from Mercedes to save myself any hassle or have I just done something wrong?

Check the wheel speed sensors and all connections. Get a STAR system hooked up to it and see what it's seeing

If you pressed bearing in, make sure its pressed in the right way. Theres a mag strip on it thats read by a sensor.

The front wheel bearings only fit one way as they are conical and the inner and outer are different sizes.... The sensor is supposed to be in the seal on the inner part of the hub

Yes, the tone ring is in the inner seal. If the spacing between the sensor and tone ring are incorrect then you will have this fault occurrence.

Think I'm just going to buy new hubs and go from there.

That should solve your problem. Replacing the seal with an oem unit would too(if installed properly)
