Fellas, who are you using for insurance? I want to cover all the after market s%it too.......suggestions!?!?

 

I've been with USAA for years - very happy with them. For cars that are heavily modded, they offer "Collector and Classic Car" insurance where among other things, you can specify agreed-value coverage so that in a total loss situation, you get that money no questions asked.

 

Same here. I've been with USAA for over 15 years.

 

State Farm..

 

 

Don't get me started on State Farm right now. In the past no issues but now that I was hit and not at fault it's taking me a lawyer to get settled.

 

Geico. Best rates I could find at the time, and they paid up when I hit a moose with my first CLS55.

 

Progressive. No claims so no comment. They do take my money though.

 

I got a "special" MB rate with Liberty Mutual significantly lower than any rate I could find. Try it. MB sent me a flyer in the mail indicating a significant cost savings, they were right. No claims to date.

 

Progressive will do an agreed value policy. Tain't cheap, but 1400/yr to insure an old Merc with vast amounts of spendy brabus stuff on it is reasonable to me. Got it covered for a whole lot more than purchase price.
