I went to MIR again Friday but couldn't get the car to launch really well. Still ended up running a 9.693@144.26mph full interior driven to and from the track. Also had a best trap of 146mph on another pass (116.37mph in the 1/8th) with a 9.756 ET. New 55 ET and MPH records. I know the car has more in it but heavily considering selling it since I have had several good offers for parting it out.

Is it just the weight difference basically? 146mph is flying in the top end.

 

I have watched and followed Ahmad race since I joined this forum and there was only a FEW guys in the tens.
His car is fast because he spent countless hours breaking ground ( and a fair amount of parts) doing research, experimenting and setting records.
Besides, it's obvious he can drive...lol.

Thank you. I have put in alot of blood, sweat, and tears in addition to the money. This is not a bolt on X, Y, and Z car and see what happens. Years of tweaking. Some may credit the difference to weight alone but ~10mph is a big difference, who knows

Haha I will defintiely continue to host track rentals. Even when my car wasn't running getting the engine built I was still hosting them. I enjoy watching racing and helping others go faster almost as much as racing myself!

Holy sh*t! That's flying. Imagine an E55 did that. That thing is DEEP into the 9s. That's nearly a second faster than 10.6 which is crazy because a second in the quarter mile after 10s needs alot of power. You've pretty much obliterated the previous records with your new setup. I don't think anyone will catch up anytime soon.
