Panoroof rattle, dealer says fix by tightening small screws?
Here's their fix: "re-tightening of all sunroof bolts that mount the sunroof cassette into the frame" (because that's what's making the clicks when rolling over potholes, etc. -does that sound right? if so, how much time do they need for labor for this--is it an easy job?
other things they found:
-rear trunk motor needs replacement (it makes noises when cold and sometimes doesn't close)
-sbc pump, hose, a couple clamps --EDIT AFTER A SEARCH IT APPEARS THAT MERC. EXTENDED THE WARRANTY ON THESE UNTIL 10YRS....I'll inquire about that tomorrow too (my car is a 2006 but not sure what the original inservice date was)
-coolent pump,
-compressor clutch for SC (my SC cut out a few times this summer when it was hot out)
-small leak in 13 pin connector on the transmission (whatever that is lol)
-leak in valve cover gasket (left and right)
-leak in rear main seal
......................MERRY XMAS TO ME!!!! hopefully the warranty covers this stuff. they didn't give me an estimate yet, but i'm thinking all this work won't be cheap!

Don't know about the roof. SC cuts out because of the coolant pump, not the clutch. High IAT.
Most of the rest is common maintenance. I wouldn't let the stealer do it.

Dang I told the service advisor I though it was the coolant pump... Dunno how they came up with the SC clutch. What's high iat?

Everything about all your problems is on here, probably even DIY instructions on U-tube,
most of it is easy to do.

2K just for the 13pin connector leak. fluid wicks its way into the TCU located underneath the front passenger floor. Another known problem that I inspected on my own thanks to this forum.
my extended warranty is covering it by replacing the connector and NEW TCU as well. They also found some worn bushings that they are replacing also. 1.5K for that also.
About 4K in repairs... covered by extended warranty with 100 deductable. Been driving around a loaner '15 C250 coupe for the past week which is nice, but I want my AMG back!

Same here. Goes away when open. Cleaning the rails and lubing with the proper vaseline does nothing to the rattle on mine.
