Any high mile E55s out there for sale?
Looking for a cheap/project E55 to play with as a project... My 03 surprised more than a few people out on the track (myself included), so I've been kicking around the idea of a 55k with some goodies for the track. Anyone got any leads? I don't mind having to do suspension or engine work, but would prefer something that runs/drives.

Just imagine how much weight can be stripped out of a E55 if you were to build a race car.

I've got a sun-roof-less roof panel sitting in my shed that I wanted to swap onto my 03 in place of the pano roof, and some DOM tubing next to it that I never got to use on my 55k!

Weight is one of the reasons I stuck with the C43. Unfortunately though the 55k swap has been sidelined for the moment due to house "projects" I have a stack of 4130 just waiting to be bent up too.

There was a 270k mile C43 for sale (somewhat) local to me for $1700... Called the seller too late - car was sold the morning I found it on CL. 
Would have also been a fun project, but after thinking about it more, seeing a boat of an E55 coming sideways out of a turn would be a pretty majestic sight.
