I posted this as a WTB in the classifieds, but thought I'd try there too for a quicker response.

I need the SL55 Y-pipe, PN 1130900329 for my 82mm TB upgrade. Looks like they are getting hard to find.

I can order a new one in Germany for around 90€.
If you want it drilled out to fit p&p to a 82mm Throttlebody-upgrade, it will be 150€.
incl. 2 new clamps (A008 997 44 90).
excl. shipping,

This item is discontinued and everyone who lists it on their website ends up telling me it's not available. My local dealer said he can't even get it from Germany.

StuttgartAMG, I might be interested in purchasing from you, but only if you can confirm availability with a current photo of the item.

You can use a 3" silicon coupler, and the stock y-pipe will work (it's outer edge is the same diameter as upgraded throttle body). It's not ideal since it's more restrictive than the stock 80mm y-pipe, but it will work.

I ordered one last week, came yesterday.
I sent it yesterday to my milling man to make it bigger for 82mm TB.

If you can wait one week, I can send you pics of the processed Y-pipe for 82mm TB.

Can you confirm with your supplier that they still have more available? Also can you describe the mods you are having done to fit the 82mm TB? I was just planning on popping out the O-ring and using a pair of generic O-rings that I have read should work. If your modification sounds better I may consider it.

If you can confirm stock then we can continue this conversation via PM.

Thanks!

Stock 80mm Y-pipe is not working.
My milling man open the inner ring up to 86mm and inserts fitting O-rings.
Only replacing O-rings will not work (my experience)

My dealer can still order new 80mm Y-pipes from global logistic center in Germersheim.

I just got a call from Vic at Husker parts telling me that he finally got my 80mm Y-pipe in (that I had ordered last year and finally cancelled after being on back order forever and I got a carbon fibre air box).

He tells me that as far as he can tell there are only 2 in the country ... he has one and Naperville mercedes (AKA parts.com) has one.

so, if you want one
go here http://huskerparts.com/oemparts/merc...130900329.html

and then call VIC 402-479-7592 to confirm you are getting the only one he has.

if you miss it, you can try Naperville MBZ for the other one.

Cheers,
Chris
