Average HP wins over Peak in the curve. (Biturbo VS C7_)

Most people look at dynos and say I make this much HP and torque but peak power does not tell the real power picture of a car or who would win the race. If you need to compare dynos or power, always try and do an overlay if you can or print out average HP across the curve to get a global view. E63 is in blue lines VS red for the C7 Vet.

Our W212 E63 Biturbo tuned/bolt ons VS a new tuned C7 Corvette (manual) with a magnacharger on it. That Vet has Lt1, gen 7 engine, direct injection but 6.2L Vs M157 5.5L. For bragging rights Peak HP is a little higher on the 5.5 and at first glance. You might think, peak HP is pretty close (30-50) but go look at the average HP -torque and it is like a whole other world of power over the C7 Vet. had a chance to overlay these dynos and thought it was interesting to share for you Vet hunters out there.

My car after shifts drops to about 5k rpms. so i focus on 5k and up. Hp at 5200 is just as important as 6k

Thread was about dyno averages VS peak hp and used a W212 and a C7 for examples. Fair?

This place is a joke.
This is why longtube headers over mid length aka Kleemanns are a waste of money...and in my opinion offer worse drivability in the city due to the off idle torque loss.

Fully agree with the message, but can you clarify which trace is which?

Power & torque curves only cross at 5252rpm.

In the mid-range (3k-4k) I think it should be from top to bottom:

Light blue: E63 torque
Dark Blue: C7 torque
Light red: E63 power
Dark red: C7 power
