Don't know if I should Laugh for feel bad
Just thought I would share this. I came across an E500 in Tampa yesterday, fully badged like an E55, Chrome Dual spoke AMG wheels, AMG Exhaust tips on both sides, even had //AMG on the silver painted stock 4 piston from calipers. Then the guy tried to race me. I wonder if this guy did the badge engineering himself, or really based on him trying to race me, I think he might have bought the car that way doesn't know much about cars and thinks he actually has a real E55. Which means he probably paid a premium price for an E500. Only way I could tell it wasn't from the drive-by was the calipers. 4 piston front and single piston rears.

I have seen a few really good E55/C63's replicas around Atlanta recently. The biggest thing to look is the brakes. I'm not talking about badges, I'm talking about hoods and bumpers. I almost ran a "C63" until I let it pass me and saw the tiny brakes...then a ran him down.

It must be the new cool thing in the Tampa area to have fake AMGs. I was at Clearwater beach today and came across a white "cls55" done up perfectly except for the brakes and missing the quad exhaust. He had some "baller" white and chrome wheels and I think was mistakenly impressed with himself from all the looks me and the gf were giving his car lol

Probably laugh because the nub should have seen from carfax or even lookin at the gine or interior gauges/seats that he doesn't have anything special
