Also, I'm seriously tired of GoFundMe. It's basically a way for people to panhandle/beg without standing on a street corner. Man up, accept that you made a mistake, and deal with it yourself.

Yeah, it took me a while to even laugh at it because it was so stupefying that somebody - who is not even a long-time member - would expect strangers to fund major repairs to his AMG that he forgot to insure. Just wow.

It's not like this was some sort of hit and run or a drunk driver. According to his story on the BegForMe page, he turned left in front of someone, so this is entirely his fault.
On this night it was very rainy, dark and foggy and unaware of the streets of the town we were in, Waterbury CT, we got lost and needed to pull over to type in directions into our GPS. Upon turning left into a parking lot, we were hit by an oncoming car.

I don't even think $9k is enough to fix the car.He should really up his begging price. The side and curtain airbags popped. figure new dynamic passenger seat, alcantara headliner and curtain airbag and is airbag in seat or door on the rear? you are looking at at least $6-7k just for interior parts (retail pricing). I am think he is in the $12-$15K repair range.
