What are your guy's opinions on black rims for a flint gray(not sure if it's really flint gray) W211? Imo I think it only looks good on white or black, but if others think it looks nice, i'll probably do it. Here's a pic I saw from another thread.
Agree that it depends on the rim. A larger rim (19-20") with larger open area to see the contrasted silver brake calipers would look better in my opinion. Black, stock split-spoke 18 inch rims on that car don't look great to me at all.
Yeah sorry I didn't say. I was talking about the stock E63 rims. I agree with you guys it depends on the rim and it would probably look nicer on 19 / 20 inch rims. I was just wondering whether I should plasti dip the stock rims until I'm able to afford aftermarket. BBS or something.
Yeah, I was never a fan of black rims. They kinda remind me of the old days when black rims were just cheap steel stamped rims that were missing hubcaps.
If you don't plasti dip the rims, you'll be able to afford BBS rims that much sooner!
Headers and tune. It will wake your car up like no other mod. It truly changes everything. The first week of driving after long tubes I was shocked. The car doesn't feel robbed of power

If you were to dip I would do grey with glossifier
If you hate the silver then at least spray them flint gray to compliment the car until you get new wheels. Classy without the "look bro, custom dipped rimz"! Classy car deserves respect. Not trying to be a "Richard" but I see so many nice cars destroyed from these pepboyz mods and it hits a nerve with me. Okay, I feel better now... carry on.
