SBC actuations
I'm swapping out my pads, rotors, and brake fluid today.
I just checked my SBC values and came up with this. Does anyone have a guess how much life is left in the system?
I'm wondering if I should just swap it out preventively in the next few weeks or if I can wait a while longer. The car only gets used about 500 miles a month.
Thanks

Now I have an entirely new problem to deal with.
I deactivated the SBC successfully.
I decided to try and Reactivate it and now I get these messages. I have tried 4 different times to turn it back on and each time I get the same series of alerts.
Any ideas how to reactivate it? Does the car need to be running? I have had the car in the air for 3 days now since I swapped out the Airmatic compressor and Arnott components up front. Does the SBC run off the accessory battery? Maybe that battery is a little low from the repeated turning the ignition on and off over a few days? You can see in photo #3 that the voltage was at 12.1.
I have tried shutting down DAS and reopening it.

I'm really of no help here, but can you post the "path" to get to SBC activation count? like the selection buttons path.
Thanks a ton!
Also, it could be your battery voltage issue preventing this from happening!

Whats the best way to do this?
Put the car down and just start it and let it run?
Leave it as is and run the trickle charger?
If I hook a battery charger (not trickle) to the main battery, will that also charge the accessory battery?

I need to get my SBC count checked. Brake check message has been on for a bit, but I hardly drive anywhere.
Isn't there a 10yr factory warranty on the SBC unit? I thought I read that somewhere on here...

When replacing with star, do you need to reset the counter separetly or does the "initial startup after repair" procedure reset it?

That's the bad part about the SBC/10yrs. So basically very few 2006's are left on warranty. That and you'll have to have a fault code to go ahead and get it changed under MB warranty. Anyone know who to generate a fault code for SBC ?
