just started logging MAP output voltage ,that being said does anyone know for a fact if 4.0 volts is the max the ECU can see before it starts fuel cut or any other fail safe actions ?
Or is it close to 4.0 AND other inputs ?, load, rpm, timing,IAT etc

Not sure about MB but most cars I've seen in the past are around 4.2-4.4 volt range

I was told 4.5v triggers ECU interruption on the map sensor. So I went to 4.5v setting on map clamp and dialed back a notch. No issues. If it was 4.0 v......I wouldn't be running. Then again, you're a different platform. It's clear to see that the model and year are programmed differently. Good luck.Originally Posted by cnterline
