i am going to get wheels off this site:
http://www.rotiform.com/blq-cast-1-piece-w-21872.htm

now based on heissrod and others help before for 20 inch wheels i should be getting 8.5 and 10 size wheels
and tires i should get: F 245/30_20|R 285/25_20

the only thing im confused about is the offset? i am not sure if the offsets on those rotiform wheels will be ok?
if you see on the link it has a chart and for the
8.5x20 i can get offset of 35 or 45
10x20 i can get offset of 25 35 or 40

it also has a "bore" number for the different sizes which i dont even know what that means....

any help with this? thanks

I run a 20x10 rear wheel with 285/30/20 tire and a +40 offset and it fits very nicely in the wheel well. No rubbing at all.

For a 20x8.5 front wheel, I think you're going to want to go with the +35 offset. I have a 20x9 in front and run that offset and it allows for plenty of clearance when the front is lowered.

Perhaps others will chime in. This is just my own personal experience.

I run 19x8.5 & 9.5 with et30 offset. everything sits flush, no rub. I also run 245/35 19 for front and 275/30 19 on rear.

Thanks for the replies

So would 285/25/20 tire fit on the 20x10 with 35 or 45 offset?? Which would be the best choice/closest to oem?
And for 20x8.5 I should get 35 offset? And what bore number?

Thanks

The bore size is 66.6

The 285 tire will fit the 10" wide rim nicely and either offset will work, really. As I stated above, mine is 20x10 with +40 offset and fits nicely. 35/45 is only plus +/- 5mm or .2 inches, which is mostly negligible. If I HAD to choose, I'd get the +35.

hey wideride i appreciate you taking the time to help me, and no prob heissrod thanks for your time.

wideride so based on what you say i should get

8.5x20 et 35
10x20 et 35
bore size 66.5 (there is no 66.6 option on rotiform website is that ok?)
bolt pattern 5 x112 or 5x108??

and finally tire sizes Front: 245/30_20 Rear: 285/25_20 (i notice you use 285/30/20 but i was told 285/25/20 is closest to oem)
Pilot supersports

sound good to you guys? no rubbing you think? much appreciated your guys time cause im ordering it special order so cant actually check it myself

5x112 ONLY. Do not get a different bolt pattern.

Get the 35 offset. 66.5 is fine.

The 285/25/20 is closest to OEM, that's correct. I just refused to put a 25 sidewall on my car. The tires look like rubber-bands.

I just tried a bunch of different offsets this wknd (adding washers 1 by 1) and found that for my 285/35/18 RS3 tires et35 is within a hair of the sidewall contacting the rear fender. That said the actual section widths of the same spec tires vary across models and manufacturers so if yours happen to run wide, like the Re71s for example, it may rub.
