Jaguar xjl super sport Vs CTS v
As some of you may know I got rid of my AMG recently and picked up a 2012 cts v. I like the V but I'm not in love with it. My main reasons for it was reliability over the AMG and still having a fast car.
That said, I recently discovered that Jaguar made an xjl super sport with a supercharged v8 with around 500hp. The interior quality looks to be miles ahead of the V and the exterior is a little more to my tastes as well.
I'd like to get your opinions on possibly trading the V for one of these jags and wondered if any of you have had any experience modifying the Jag to get more power out of her. I'd love to be able to get it up around 650 at the crank if possible but unfortunately there's not a ton of info out there on these things.
Thanks

As Far as Jags go the new ones are very nice and fast as F8$k and sound amazingggg, and just like the 55's can be made very fast with bolt ons, there is a big aftermarket out there for these cars so parts are not that bad.
Not sure of you budget but if you want a Fast Fun and Rare 4 door the XF-RS is the one there is a local one in Sarasota you should go test drive it

Have you actually sat in and driven the car? If not you might want to check it out". You can read between the lines on my thoughts on how "nice" they really are.
Do they "look" good? Yes...
Andre, we can still race though you'll probably beat my stock V.

The interior in the XJ seemed soooo much nicer than the XF. But that's just from seeing them in a showroom, no" how does it hold up in real life" experience. Maybe you should lurk on the Jag forums for a while. That's always a good place to hear the good and bad of a car. Plus you can get feedback on how dealers are handling issues.
I mean, for fack sake, you can get a CRATE trans for like $1900 from GM.
Don't get some dump jag.
However I do also notice that most of those who leave always want to comeback

Thing about European cars is if you plan to own one out of warranty to make sure you have a second car. If you want reliability then keep the CTS-V...if you want comfort go back to the Mercedes, if you want a nice looking car with a horrid touch screen that is slower than mudd, get a British car.
