Is it worth it? Only you can decide. However, the face-lift and the 6.3 liter is probably coming in the 2006 model. Sorry for making your decision harder.

 

6.3 liter? I think that's gonna be a lot more expensive though.

 

Mid model updates and facelifts do not increase the price much. The 6.3 liter is probably cheaper to build than a 5.5 with the supercharger. The 6.3 will be built entire inhouse while the Supecharger is source from another company I belive. Is the Blower made by a company called IHI in Japan.

 

According to UK CAR Magazine, the new 6.3 AMG motor will be a N/A V8 producing 500bhp and 434lb ft torque. It also says the 6.3 AMG will be mated to 6 speed auto. I posted a link on the CL 55 board.

 

434 lb ft of trq? Ok then it's worth buying....You can upgrade 5.5 supercharger engine lol....I loveeee torque....so i prolly decided to go with E55....

Was I trippin then when I heard the hp was gonna be 620hp? Hmmm don't remember the torque figures but I remember hearing something about the 6.3 liter engine being a N/A V-8 producing 620 hp. I must have been trippin...
