more jerkyness accelerating and noises help

hey all

I noticed while driving today when accelerating i hear this humming type of noise coming from the vehicle. It is not an ongoing noise but rather it comes and goes, I notice it more when driving on highway speeds.

As well I am noticing the ride is not as smooth as it was before....there is more jerkyness when trying to accelerate quickly and that instant punch is not there like before in my opinion.

Anyone know what might be the problem? No error messages on the dash. Any help is appreciated

so i drove it for little while today and found the following

when i accelerate i sometimes here humming noise that lasts for a few seconds
its also not as smooth when accelerating hard too much jerkyness
when i start car it revs to like 12 on the revs gauge then the engine sound dims down and the gauge goes down to 8 or so

dunno what is the issue

It is a 2003 but my radiator was updated before i bought the car

is it possible it could be a fuel pump issue and the humming noise is the fuel pump?
