bi-xenon: both high and low bean with xenon, much brighter when you're on high beam.

BTW, bi-xenons don't have seperate high and low beams instead it has a shutter that exposes the whole bulb at high beam. In fact the E still uses a halogen high beam in conjuntion with the shutter. Its for the flash to pass when your lights are off as the xenons can't start up fast enough.

I thought the 2004 E55 came standard with bi-xenons and the option was for self cornering bi-xenons?

That's what the dealer told me when I bought it. I didn't find out that it did not have xenon bulbs until I got home 3 hours later. Did the dealership pay to put them in? Nope.
