Full Steam ahead....Here come das E55
Just checked with dealer and he tells that my E55 is on the boat headed this way! All hands on deck, man your battle stations, we are good to go and ready to launch!
And I ain't excited at all about this
And the good news is...I am not required to pay the price increase since I left a grand deposit on the car.
So first of April the beast of Birmingham will arrive in the USA.

Thats odd you didnt have to pay the price increase. Almost everyone has to put at least a grand deposit to get their hands on an E55 the way they want it, and I bet most everyone paid that increase anyway.

That is what I have been told...but guess its just another reason to live in sweet home Alabama.
Like most drag strips have helment, type garment worn to race...or a cage when running a 10 sec car.....here you can drag naked if you so desire
Don't know but I will hold this dealers feet to the fire about that price increase when the car arrives. I got a copy of the invoice that he gave me to prove it.

We know how you feel. Nothing like the anticipation of knowing your own beast is on the way. And savor every second of the drive home. Our salesman was going over ther paper work, explaining this and having me sign that, and all I could think of was.....yeah yeah yeah, get on with it. And rather than end up parking it, I wanted to drive that baby out of state. LOL

2003 E55 Techtite over Blue Leather.
I hate to break it to you... There is nothing Blue tooth about the V60 system at all! As long as it still needs the docking station under the center console, it's just a normal Mercedes phone system. It would only have blue tooth technology if it connected to the car's electronics via wireless thus not requiring re-docking it every time you entered the car (Which I must say is a royal pain).
I don't know what's more funny... The idiotic things that salesmen will tell prospective buyers, or their willingness to believe them???
