Malfunction messages - Could use some guidance

Was on a drive on the freeway and suddenly got the following messages:

- Display malfunction
- SRS malfunction
- TeleAid malfunction (probably due to SRS and SOS button)
- Intermittent beep in the car
- Car locks but alarm does not beep after locking
- and finally check engine light

And all messages asking to visit workshop.

Car drove fine and had no issues mechanically. My guess is either the alternator or voltage regulator. Any guidance, suggestions, help appreciated!

Thanks

It's probably your central gateway. Take your car to a shop and have electrical diagnostics performed.

Before you leave pop the boot and check the positive terminal just to make sure it is securely bolted onto the terminal and it's associated + lead offshoot. I think it is a 10mm as I remember. That being loose on my e55 caused some issues. I only had a "Convenience Features disabled" and "ESP unavail." if I am remembering correctly. Your's sounds like a major CAN communication issue IMHO.
