This 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG may be priced a bit optimistically.

I wouldn't pay more than salvage value while assuming a blown engine, then hope it kept running so I could enjoy it. Can you imagine trying to sell this? Also there are still some nice lower mile examples that are reasonably priced. So maybe $5K. Tops.

There was an earlier thread on this- I can vouch for this dealership, its where I got my s65 from. All their cars ( a lot of AMGs) are clean and in showroom condition, can't say much about this car though as Ive never seen it etc, and i also believe that they are asking a lot for it. My friend actually sent me a vid of this, someone did a review on it
quite interesting.

They're on crack asking that much money. Miles are miles, no matter where they're driven. Personally I'd pass on this one, but if I did buy it, I'd buy it at a price that I could flip it at, or at the very least, not lose money. $2000, take it or leave it. If the motor or tranny pops, I can afford to find one with less than 100,000 miles and get it put in.

when i went to order my 2016 c450 AMG, the dealer want to give me 800$ for my 2003 c320 coupe with 200,000 miles. screw that! i'm keeping it. that' a freaking insult !

Would pay 7.500 tops for it. Just because I find its mileage cool in some crazy way.
I would pay $4K as spare part.

2003 E55 401,000 Miles. Base options it looks like. Yea about $3,000 at the most.

Mercy should buy this car to share as an example of how long their cars last. It's externally in superlative shape for having earned so many miles!

If you spend $5K on it you cant go wrong even if it fails in a year or two..Still looks really nice and would make a hell of a commuter car!
