New Arnotts installed. But, light still on dash? Need Star?
Hey guys, I finally got my new arnotts put on with the new shocks. But, the airmatic fault light still on the dash. Is star needed to reset the light?
Using his scanner, we checked voltage on heigh sensors and all within spec. Ran a pump test and it checked out fine. So what gives?
New parts installed:
Airmatic pump
Arnott air springs
Bilstein shocks
My tech says we need to use star to get rid of the light. Anyone can chime in about this?

If all is done well you don't need star. The car will do a test when the car is started if all levels are good and pressure is fine then no codes.
Is the code white or red?

Another thing is after the sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings swapped. The steering wheel is noticeably tighter feeling. Any insight on that?

There should be no codes that need to be cleared..the stiffer steering has to do with alignement. Once you get the airmatic figured out you need to do an alignement

What things can cause the airmatic fault code on the dash?
Allignment. Never knew that. All he did was R/I the sway bar to put new bushings. My tech said he had to drop some stuff down. Lower cross member i guess. Then the new steering rack bushings So. I guess that would cause a need for new allignment?

Ok connected to star, the airmatic light is on because the lleft front height sensor is bad or unplugged. Gonna check that tomorrow. So I guess that's good news. Everything else is good, no other issues.

Checked the sensors and all was fine. The MB tech says when my car was raised back up to stock with star the values were changed so that is what's causing the fault. Because there is nothing wrong with my airmatic system.
Looks like I need to go back to the other MB dealer who raised my car back to stock and see if they are wiling to hep me.
