Mobile ATF 134 is the only trans fluid that meets current Mercedes spec from Exxon Mobile. Here is a link to the rest of the currently approved fluids.

https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevol...236.14_en.html

Member Glyn M Ruck helped develop the current spec fluid and you should only use the current spec fluid as it is far superior to the old spec in every way (you probably should flush out the old stuff while you are at it. here is a pdf of that procedure https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...55-p-0100a.pdf). Do NOT use any fluid that says 'suitable for Mercedes' ONLY USE ONE OF THE FLUIDS ON THE LINK I POSTED.

For a more detailed reason why, just read through this thread where Glyn M Ruck thoroughly explains.

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...722-6-atf.html

I know someone is going to post something like 'well I've been using Valvoline maxlife fine for the last 30k miles so do that.' DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE. Instead read through the link to the thread I posted as it very thoroughly explains why.

No reason to save a little bit of money on non-recommended fluid when it can cost you a transmission later
