spinning noisy bearing noise at low speeds, when off the throttle? Is it driveshaft?

heard a spinning bearing sound only at very low speeds in a parking lot. When you push the gas then hit the brake it's like something spinning. Like a noisy bearing. Hard to describe but, its when you hit the gas then tap the brakes in a parking lot or coming into a garage and something just spins and it seems like it will keep spinning or making that noise until you stop the car tap the gas pedal again.

can not duplicate the sound when car is parked. Only when driving very slow speeds in parking lot.

I thought it could be the driveshaft bearing. Or is it supercharger bearing?

Been on a maintenance perfection binge. So, if anyone has encountered this let me know thanks!

No it's not the IC pump. It's something connected to the engine. That rotates with the engine or the transmission. I am thinking its a driveshaft bearing that is getting noisy.

I am sure someone has had to experience the same before.

You could take serpentine belts off one at a time to rule out a bunch of rotational noises, then go from there ,just a suggestion

Does anyone know, if the inner supercharger bearing make noises when it goes out? My engine is mint, only has around 50k miles.

Sounds like the supercharger bearing to me, or one of the belt tensioners.

It is definetly something that can spin independently of the engine and belts. So, the torque converter might be or possibly SC bearing. I dunno. Because ai cant replicate the sound when car is stopped.

I'm on a keep the car in perfect working condition spree.

Where is the noise coming from? I had a similar noise. I thought initially it was a bearing that had gone bad. The noise was coming from the left rear so I started to inspect and it turned out that my emergency break shoes had literarily disintegrated it was in pieces. so try and check that.

Mmm Kinda does. How do you fix that or is that even an issue.

That's an idea I can disconnect the SC belt and see if it still does it.

that's just the supercharger pulley bearing....

removing the belt and running the car would eliminate that noise (if that is the cause)
