285 40 18 Drag Radial Fitment
I'm looking to use a stock wheel. It seems people are hooking on a 35 series tire, but I'd rather have a 40 if it will fit. From the research I have done it looks like a BFG 275 35 18 maybe my best bet.
Thanks guys

I looked again at another picture he posted later in the thread. Turns out he has a C63. I guess I'll find out. I crawled under my car and it does not look too tight, but I guess I will find out.

lazie12g the 285/40/18 MT's will work and you will love them!
I just put 315/30/18 Hoosier Drag Radials on 9.5" CLS rims (the look just like the stock E55 rims just .5" wider with ET28). I run them 7/24/365 as a 3rd car I rarely drive. No rubbing and the car might as well be AWD on the street.
