I get a random miss but my setup is getting radical.

Did a sea foam and will report. Stock injectors are soon to be replaced with 550cc

Cheers

Have one O2 bung to fix

Which supporting mods do you need to do so you can upgrade the injectors? Any benefit in upgrading?

Currenly only have a 180mm crank pulley, wanna upgrade the injectors as preventative maintenance vs replacing them

I was told you need quite a bit to warrant bigger injectors. Pulley and tune don't require them.

Anything over a 180cp or equivalent SCP (77) will require additional fueling as that is when the injectors are running just about static.

Anything over a 168-172 (83 SCP) it would be a good idea to run larger injectors imho. More overhead for future needs

you can upgrade injectors even if the car is stock. I had a factory injector fail on both my e55 and sl55 and it nearly ruined the engine in both. as prevent maint I replaced all the injectors and since 8 550s is about the same price as 1 new oem injector retail I did the 550s. the only thing you need is a tune. nothing else. the reason you upgrade injectors is so that they run at a lower duty cycle. stock injectors have to start running at a very high duty cycle close to 100% once you start doing more mods. this leaves very little margin for error when they are running that high. so, technically stock injectors will work with lots of mods, its just that each mod you do is going to likely make it so the car requires more fuel and thus a higher duty cycle. the higher duty cycle you run, the more you are playing with fire on the razors edge.

personally I would just replace all 8 with 550s even if I was stock and hadn't had injectors fail as prevent maint. you are talking a lot of work if the thing runs lean or hydrolocks and shells the motor.
