Hi,

My E55 has spectre intakes. Are these any good? I am considering going back to the standard air box system but will keep the spectres if they're better.

I believe that is the same intake that ftp sells.

Looks Nice,

They have alloy housing, i believe you will need to wrap them from damn heat in Engine bay,,

other than that, they will be USELESS..!

No need to go with OEM box, unless if you will wrap those Spectre's,,

isn't Spectre the intakes they sell in PEP BOYS?

I believe these have been tested and picked up no power or lost power compared to stock boxes.

Hi,

I think they outperform any other intake system in keeping your eyes on them and not on your (slightly) "in-use-engine-bay".

I had this exact same setup on my old C32 and it appeared to make an extremely subjective positive difference. Of course I replaced the y-pipe at the same time which is much more restrictive on the M112K which could explain most of the change.

Cant theres any performance gain. Probably get some louder supercharger whine tho
