Battery type

Hey guys I have a brand new battery from the dealer 0055411001 and I need to plug my charger in to do my Eurocharged tune but my charger wants to know if it's Gell cell or FLA or AGM, etc.. and I'm not sure, nor is the dealer as to the type. It's an 06 S55 but that forum is all but dead unfortunately.. does anyone here have any ideas by chance? Thanks!

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
i'm sure you have a standard battery which is a Flood Lead Acid, FLA. you can tell because there are screw plugs to pour the acid into the battery.

The battery is AGM. Absorbent Glass Mat. If you google the part number alone it will provide results.

Thanks but those aren't the battery. It's a genuine Mercedes and after looking at it, it is acid.

Look for "AGM" on it.

Maybe they sold you the wrong one? I dont see why your 2006 s55 would use a conventional flooded battery when my 2006 cls55 uses AGM?
what is the rated CCA and how much did it cost? (AGM is typically more expensive, for reference)

regardless, back to your topic (not mine)..........screw caps on top = conventional flooded FLA
