I searched on here and found nothing. I am having an intermittent issue when using the Bluetooth with my phone. Sometimes the connection will go silent for about 30 seconds and its really annoying because i cant hear the person i was talking to and they can sometimes hear me. The call doesn't drop it just goes silent so then i have to put the phone on speaker for a mintute and switch it back, sometimes i have no issue, my tech said it may be a software issue and updated the car, it got a little better but still not working the way it should. Any help is appreciated.

Good luck. MB support for older systems is terrible. Their bluetooth policy on newer cars is basically "it must be the phone, try a different one". We update software, no change. They also don't continue to release newer software for very old operating systems, a car from 2012 may only have updated to about 2015, so you are still 2 years behind current phone tech at best. On an old 211, you are probably 8 years behind.
Is it an Iphone? In general, all the connectivity problems are with apple devices, and apple basically has the same attitude as MB, "it must be your car, get a different one". Makes for really fun customer relations on our part when Apple tells customers to have the car updated, and there's just nothing more we can do than update them to a software that's still much older than their phone and won't fix the issue anyway.

I have an iPhone and the newer of the two pucks, mostly no issues. Check to see if you have iOS updates pending. When I have them my phone works very poorly until I update.

He's a little too subtle. Up to 2008, it was NTG1.0, in 2009 they went to NTG2.5. If Comand was already updated, try deleting the bluetooth setting on the phone and also on the car and try pairing it again. But yeah, lots of people seem to complain about bluetooth and sometimes it's just the phone and nothing can be done til a new update comes out.

Man idk if its sheer luck or what not but I made like 4 calls with the media interface system turned off (idk if I'm doing it right but when i hit that it disables all audio until i select something like aux, cd or exc) with not one single interruption or hick up, i can play my music and as soon as i get a call i an go to audio and do the same thing, it's annoying switching back and fourth but if that's what will make my BT work good i guess that's what it is. The BT in my 09 c63 was always crispy.

I like to plug my iPhone in directly to the media interface plus because the sound is better than using bluetooth. The phone is still connected to the COMAND for phone call functions though because that is a separate bluetooth connection.
