RCTuningshop on Ebay, anyone dealt with them ?

Anyone dealt with Ravi from RCTuningshop ?
I tried to ask some questions about the fixed pullies he had, but he was unable to answer them.
4 emails later he finally admits he does not sell the pullies that he had the photos of ?? and still didn't answer the questions.
I was looking for a 84 ish fixed pulley, as my clutched 84mm is slipping.
He wanted to do a retune, but I am not so confident.

I would suggest moving on to another vendor. There are many trusted. I personally have had great dealings with Anthony Lawshee of RaceIQ and Shardul. Try them for your pulley and/or tuning needs.

+1 there are enough trusted vendors on here no one should need to go on eBay for parts or services. I would especially avoid someone who can't give you a decent answer straight away first time. Between the two mentioned already and eurocharged if they can't help it may not exist.

don't go cheap on pulleys. buy from a verified vendor to avoid any issues with misalignment, etc.

Yeah, not worth shredded components from a pulley failing. Just get a nice set with some quality bearings from someone trusted.

That is actually me. No one really buys 83MM/89MM Pulleys because clutch pullies are much safer. You will need a retune if you have a clutch vs fixed supercharger as there is a reason why Eurocharged doesn't sell FSP tunes anymore because it is dangerous. Race IQ sells them but you can ask him benefits versus clutch and fixed.

I messaged you back stating I do have a 83MM in stock.

Let me know if you have any other questions

What is so dangerous about fixed pulleys? I was looking into going away from clutched with a clutchless 90mm, because I have a harsh engagement and 180mm crank

nothing(sort of)...you just have the potential to wear out the supercharger faster as its always going.

as far as bleeding off boost, there is a bypass valve. factory superchargers are clutched as so they can disengage to save the engine in case of fault. aftermarket superchargers are not clutched.

Exactly. I had two customers message me months later saying they needed to replace superchargers because of the excess wear.

Yup but not for the guys overseas... I have 2 spare superchargers sitting as a paper weight
